INNOVATING TO COMMUNICATE
POS = Promotion by Visual Leverage
For 15 years, U-KNOW has been pursuing this quest for the advertising medium that will be the forerunner of tomorrow's communication. Without ever abandoning its core products, U-KNOW has designed, developed and harmonised its range to meet the future requirements of advertisers.
Expertise
With this in mind, U-KNOW began by perfecting its service throughout the production chain. With a fleet of large-format machines that expands year on year, the brand prints its own media and internalises all functions. U-KNOW offers a made in France service with a level of responsiveness that sometimes surprises, while keeping the budget reasonable.
Upstream, our design studio works closely with our customers to create mock-ups that meet their expectations. Before the products are delivered, we assemble them to make them easier to use and to ensure the quality of the finish. Downstream, an After-Sales Service team made up of experts in point-of-sale advertising accompanies customers throughout the use of their products, providing technical support and advice on how to use them.
Range
Secondly, U-KNOW wanted to modernise its range. Thanks to a reinforced construction, we are ensuring that our products have a longer lifespan and are more likely to be reused anywhere and on any occasion. We are also modernising our materials: our tarpaulins comply with the European B1 fire standard.
Research & Development
Thirdly, U-KNOW's targeted and effective R&D work has led to the development of an innovative range of inflatable POP displays. Tents, totems, curved stands, armchairs, footstools, cubes and pyramids are covered in a sublimation-printed elastic textile that is easy to transport and practical to use. With exclusive rights to these products, U-KNOW aims to be the designer of the future essentials of digital visual communication.
Thanks to this, U-KNOW intends to be the driving force behind visionary advertising.
Editorial by the founders
How can signage be made accessible to the general public? For a long time, advertising signage was the prerogative of large groups with large surfaces, who wanted large media to ensure high visibility for consumers. Today, the balance has shifted and the trend is towards universal support. The large corporation is now seen as a large number of individuals who aspire to the same autonomy, intuitiveness and speed as independent players. This is why media have shrunk in size and volume, and can now be installed by anyone. With the massive expansion of large-format printers, prices and turnaround times have fallen, and today there is a plethora of products on offer for roll-ups, posters, window stickers and flyers. So many, in fact, that it's hard to find one's way around and that's prompting manufacturers - us - to ask ourselves the question of tomorrow's media.
So how do we find a recipe for greater modularity, greater visibility and greater intuitiveness with less volume? Well, we change the material, we rethink the approach to aluminium, we separate the elements and rethink them individually. When we can't do that, we often find the solution in inflatables. When we want lighting, we add a well-positioned LED zest. In short, you rack your brains and you end up succeeding. This leads to a finished product that goes the extra mile, that thinks about the printer, the communications agency, the large company as well as the SME, the end user who will have to assemble the product and who wants instructions and an assembly video, and our logistics department that checks, prepares and packs your media.
U-KNOW is inventing the mobile signage of tomorrow.
